Getting Started

Welcome to CopyPaste! This guide will help you get up and running quickly.

  1. Download CopyPaste from plumamazing.com
  2. Install by dragging the app to your Applications folder
  3. Launch CopyPaste for the first time

When you first launch CopyPaste:

  • The app will appear in your menu bar (top-right of your screen)
  • You’ll see the CopyPaste icon (clipboard with command key symbol)
  • The online manual will open automatically (this won’t happen again)
  • Use Command+C as usual to copy text
  • CopyPaste automatically remembers each copy in your clip history
  • Command+V - Paste the most recent copy (clip 0)
  • Click on any clip in the CopyPaste menu to paste it
  • Control+number - Paste by clip number (e.g., Control+3 for clip 3)
  • Your clip history appears in the CopyPaste menu
  • Clip 0 is always the most recent copy
  • Each new copy pushes previous clips down the list
  • The menu shows a preview of each clip’s content
